Can I use a design and logo that I already have?

Yes, you can use any design or logo that you currently have, or our team can help with a design you may have in mind.

Does Sign Spot offer graphic design services?

Yes, we offer graphic design, 3D sign design, and rendering services. Our team will also create concept renderings to help you visualize your sign.

What fonts can I use for my sign?

Custom signs could be made using any font or design. If you don’t have any font or style in mind, check out Google Fonts for some license-free options.

What is a front-lit channel letter?

A front-lit channel letter, one of the most common sign types, is made of aluminum returns and an acrylic face, that houses LED's inside to give it the illumination from within. This allows the front of the sign to be lit up, showcasing your selected colors.

Permit

Why do I need a sign permit?

Sign permits are oftentimes required by the city and/or county to ensure all signage meets code, building, safety, and zoning regulations.

Does Sign Spot offer permitting services?

Yes, we offer permitting services which include the drafting and submission of all necessary permits. Prior to the manufacturing of your sign, we will ensure that it is compliant with city and/or county rules, regulations, and requirements.

How much do permitting services cost?

Permit procurement costs can vary depending on project size and complexity. Smaller projects can cost between $600-$1,000; larger projects can cost a few thousand dollars.

What additional fees are associated with permitting?

Besides our permit service fees, each city will charge a fee associated with that particular project. The local municipality will determine the cost of the fee depending on the project valuation, and a few other factors. Some cities, like Los Angeles, provide a free permit fee calculator.

Does my permit expire?

No, your sign permits do not expire.

How is my sign made?

Each sign is built entirely custom, and fabricated to meet your specifications and brand guidelines. We use innovative machinery, to reduce human-error, which also helps with a faster turn-around time. Our portfolio showcases the variety of signage Sign Spot can manufacture!

What does "in-house" production mean?

In-house production means everything is built at Sign Spot, by Sign Spot. We do not outsource any of our projects to outside vendors.

How long will it take for my sign to be made?

The turn-around time highly depends on your signage. For example, high-complexity or larger signs may take up to a few months, and smaller projects could take 2-3 weeks.

Install

Do you offer installation services?

We can execute the installation of any sign type, including channel letter signs, pylon signs, monument signs, architectural signs, and digital LED displays. We’ll work with you to organize all details. Our installers are OSHA 30 certified, ensuring safety and proper execution.

How long will my sign installation take?

The installation of your sign could take anywhere from a few hours to 3 days depending on the size and complexity of the sign. Please contact us regarding any urgent projects.
