Commercial Exchange

The Commercial Exchange blade sign has marked Downtown Los Angeles for over 90 years, and it's the tallest neon blade sign in the city. Restoring it meant rebuilding rather than replacing: new aluminum sheets, new neon, new hardwire, and complete rewiring, with finishes matched to the building's period character. A modern-looking sign would have been wrong here, so the goal was a sign that reads as original.
